It's the Holiday Season.
I love this time of year, it is by far the best.
It is starting to get cold, but you still have those random warm days. It is time for decorating and planning family visits. I think Mid-September is when it starts. The air becomes crisper, the trees being to change color (living in Colorado they actually do change), boots and sweaters are an every day must, it is time to start baking like crazy, apples & pumpkins are in season, and best of all you get to start preparing for the holidays!!!
I have really been trying to savor this season, time has been going by so quickly that i often forget to enjoy the moment. Where Tom and I live is kind of on top of a big hill and we have a beautiful view of the Rockies, I try and take Lenie on a walk every day after work so i can enjoy the beauty of what is around me. Taking in the sunny skies, the changing trees, the mountains is amazing, and now with the weather getting colder it really gets you in the holiday spirit! I love it.

i definitely need to remember to enjoy this time of year and the little moments, even if they don't involve actual seasons or a view of the rockies :(
