It's the Holiday Season.
I love this time of year, it is by far the best.
It is starting to get cold, but you still have those random warm days. It is time for decorating and planning family visits. I think Mid-September is when it starts. The air becomes crisper, the trees being to change color (living in Colorado they actually do change), boots and sweaters are an every day must, it is time to start baking like crazy, apples & pumpkins are in season, and best of all you get to start preparing for the holidays!!!
I have really been trying to savor this season, time has been going by so quickly that i often forget to enjoy the moment. Where Tom and I live is kind of on top of a big hill and we have a beautiful view of the Rockies, I try and take Lenie on a walk every day after work so i can enjoy the beauty of what is around me. Taking in the sunny skies, the changing trees, the mountains is amazing, and now with the weather getting colder it really gets you in the holiday spirit! I love it.

Book?
For years i have been trying to figure out how to make my fortune. And on and off i have thought about writing a book. But trying to figure out what to wright about it very tough.
Should it be fiction? Fantasy? Mystery? Cookbook? Silly? lovey-dovey? Serious(definitely not serious).
Is unleashing my very imaginative brain unto the world a good idea? How does one go about writing a book? How can i organize my thoughts enough to even come up with an idea? And if i do come up with an idea how do i get that out of my head and on paper? So many things to think about.
Don't count on seeing Hillary Morris on the New York best sellers list any time soon, but it is definitely something that I can always think about. Maybe I will find another way to make my fortune.......

Oh Happy Thursday
I had such a nice day today...
It started out a little boring at work, but i got to leave at 11am and I met my mom and little brother and sister at the mall. They have been staying at our cabin the last couple of days, and they drove down to Denver last night.
We went to the mall....did some fun shopping at old navy (best store) I got a pair of super cute boots! Then we met Tom at Noodles....had some super yummy food. After lunch we all went to the Butterfly Pavilion. Which was really pretty cool, we saw a lot of bugs. After that, we came back to my tiny apartment played with Lenie. Mom tried on all her new clothes, some didn't fit. Tom watched the kids (great boyfriend) and mom and I went to back to old navy and bought a whole bunch more clothes. It is seriously the best store ever.
All in all i had such a nice day with my mom. It was over to soon, but so happy that i was able to see them at all. And good news tomorrow is Friday! Can't wait for the weekend.

And so it begins......
So i've been busy...that is my excuse for not blogging pretty much ever. Not the fact that i am not good at writing, or that i have no friends, or that i don't have anything interesting to say. But as Tom said this blog should be for me, a way to get out my feelings so i don't punch everyone in the face (mostly him).
So hear goes........
I have a full time job and i work really hard at doing a good job. It is almost my one year anniversary with good ole Noodles & Company. I can't believe it! It has gone so fast....My job is good....i have learned a lot and I feel i have become a very important part to the company, a lot of people rely on me which is nice. As my boss tells me, "Hillary, you're never aloud to go on vacation again! I don't know how to do your job." You always know your needed when no one else can replace you when you leave for 2 days.
As I mentioned above I have no friends...since that is the case i spend most of my timing watching Bones, American Dad, and wedding shows. Which makes me even more obsessed with getting engaged to my long time (almost 3 years) boyfriend Thomas than ever. Tom is not so obsessed with getting married, which makes things harder. HA. However, he did say it'd happen before the end of the year. So hears hoping...LAME! Oh well you can't force someone into something they are not ready for. Right?!?
I know this an abrupt ending to my blog post, but i don't want to give it all away on my first post.....so I'll say the lame thing
Until next time...

March 3rd was Lenie's 2nd birthday, Tom and I wanted to make it a special day for our baby! We took her to the park, got her a yummy dinner, and we got her a special doggie frozen treat. This place called good times actually sell frozen treats for dogs called a pawbender.

Tom's Dad visits
Tom's dad came to visit a couple of weeks ago, I made him some poppy seed kolaches and we went to the Coors Factory.

Poppy Seed Kolaches- this is Tom's dad favorite treat, his great grandma would make these for him. They look kinda weird but they are actually really good.

Bus that took us to the Coors Factory

Copper Kettles where the beer is brewed

Tom and My beer, you get a free tasting at the end of the tour. By free tasting I mean 3 full beers. It is awesome!
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of people, but we were all there and we had a great time.
